To advance the science and practice of groundwater sustainability, my research is based on observation,
theory, modeling, and hydroinformatics to characterize and manage water resources under uncertainty in a participatory water governance framework.

3. Environmental tracers including groundwater interaction with surface water, coastal systems, climate, groundwater dependent ecosystems, and human activities
4. Modeling of groundwater flow, solute transport, and geochemical reactions
5. Environmental data science with focus on Earth processes and socio-ecological systems
6. Uncertainty analysis, surrogate modeling, and high-performance computing
